Alondra Suites  

Set in a quiet part of Puerto Del Carmen, these white-washed cubist villas make one chic hideaway. And with a mix of designs, they look more like a tiny village than a holiday complex.

The entrance to each villa is certainly impressive enough, with huge cacti giving way to generous marble doorsteps and chunky wooden doors. But inside it gets even better. Spacious rooms are decorated in calm neutrals. Add chunky wooden furniture, comfy sofas and big plants and you've got one stylish place. Kitchens are compact but state-of-the-art, while bedrooms go a little more glam. With contemporary wall art, flatscreen satellite TVs and huge comfy beds, they're the perfect place to relax.

And then there's the pool. For a start, it's yours – you'll be sharing with no one. It's set into a sundeck just inches from your door so you won't have far to go for a dip. You'll also find comfy sunloungers, a big parasol and manicured lawns, too.

Last but not least, in terms of location, the Alondra Suites are a kill-two-birds-with-one-stone kind of place. They're in a quiet spot but have all the shops, bars and restaurants of Puerta Del Carmen within a ten-minute walk. And Playa Chica Beach is less than 20-minutes' walk away, too.
